Lakeside Speedway, Kansas City, KS (September 28, 2007)
The KBMR team traveled down to Lakeside Speedway for 2 nights of WDRL/MLRA racing action. Kyle started front row outside of his heat and took the lead early and went on to win it for a great start to the night. This put Kyle on the second row inside for the 30 lap feature. He lined up right next to Nextel Cup driver Clint Bower. The car was responding well to the track. However, Terry Philips and John Anderson would be too fast for Kyle to handle. Kyle finished 3rd.
Lakeside Speedway, Kansas City, KS (September 29, 2007)
The second night Kyle qualified 9th fastest in time trials. This placed him in the second row inside for the heat race. This would be a tough heat race with Delbert Smith and Chris Simpson (who set one of the fastest times). But Kyle was able to take them on and win the heat race eventually earning him a starting position on the inside of the second row for the 50 lap feature. At the drop of the green Terry Phillips had mechanical problems and coasted to the infield. This moved Kyle up to front row outside John Anderson. Kyle would take the lead on the drop of the green. Kyle and John caught lap traffic by lap 8 and John was able to get around Kyle. Kyle would hold on to second until late in the race when his right rear tire was beginning to give up and Jeremy Payne found his way around him. With only 7 laps left Kyle the tire went flat and he was forced to the pits. He was scored 14th.
