Late Model - May 28, 2010 - Mid-Nebraska Speedway, Doniphan, NE
            On Friday night the KBMR  team loaded the Lazer Chassis and Wegner automotive car and headed to their home track in Doniphan.  This would be the team's first race in the NCRA series.  Kyle started the night in the third heat, third row inside.  He would quickly get the lead and go on to win his heat,  putting him second in passing points.  With his passing points, he would start the 30 lap A feature front row outside.  Kyle, the defending NCRA champion, led the first three laps in his Dorothy Lynch, Fontanelle sponsored Lazer chassis.  Kyle would lose the lead to Kelly Boen and follow him around the track the rest of the way.  Kyle would finish 2nd.  Top 5 were - 1.  Kelly Boen, 2.  Kyle Berck, 3.  Eddie Kirchoff, 4.  Al Humphrey, 5.  Jerry Warner.

Late Model - May 29, 2010 - Junction Motor Speedway, McCool, NE
            Saturday night the team headed to McCool to compete in the SLMR series, which Kyle is leading in points.  He would get a bad draw for the heat and start fourth row outside.  But his Swartz chassis would be dialed in and he would fall into second place to finish the heat.  With the redraw for starting positions, Kyle started the 25 lap A feature fourth row outside.  Kyle would take his Ford Wegner automotive to the lead with in just a few laps.  The track was very slick and had multiple groves, which allowed for a lot of passing and good racing.  Kyle would go on to a strong win!!  Top 5 were - 1.  Kyle Berck, 2. 
                                               
Modified - May 29, 2010 - Junction Motor Speedway, McCool, NE
            Tonight  would be the modified debut in the Razor chassis.  Kyle started the heat in second row outside, but would have suspension problems and  be focused to the pits.  The Neil Zank team would work hard on the car to get it ready to go for the 20 lap A feature.  Kyle started the feature in third row outside and would take the lead in a few laps.  He would slowly grow a lead on the other cars and take the Neil Zank, Razor chassis to victory lane.

Late Model - May 30, 2010 - I-80 Speedway, Greenwood, NE
            Rounding out the weekend for the KBMR team was the Alphabet Soup race at I-80 Speedway.  A 40 car field would take the field falling into 5 heats with Kyle in the third heat starting fifth row inside.  The KBMR team had the Dorothy Lynch, Fontanelle sponsored Lazer chassis running well but with many spin outs and no cautions, Kyle struggled to gain on the leaders and would finish his heat in third.  The 40 lap A feature, Kyle started fourth row inside.  By lap 3 Kyle would be battling with John Anderson and Kelly Boen for the lead.  Kyle fell into second and put his sights on Kelly for the remainder of the race, but with many restarts he would lose his second place to Dave Eckrich and finish in 3rd.  Top 5 were -1, Kelly Boen. 2, Dave Eckrich. 3, Kyle Berck. 4, Brad Looney. 5, John Anderson.
Coming up -
            The KBMR team's next event will be with the NCRA series this Friday and Saturday night at Great American Speedway in Jetmore, Kansas for the “Sunflower State Showdown” paying $10,000 to win.  Then the team will head to the High Banks of Belleville on Sunday night.  Hope to see you all there.  We have just got infant size t-shirt for even the smallest Kyle Berck fan.  So gear up the family!!
