Runner-up finish in Gail & Karen Hampel Memorial at Adams County
After a droop rule infraction nullified his Friday night result at WaKeeney Speedway, Kyle Berck rebounded on Saturday afternoon at Adams County Speedway, competing in the Malvern Bank West Series-sanctioned Gail & Karen Hampel Memorial.
Berck earned a front-row starting position for the $3,000-to-win feature with a strong heat race performance. He led the opening two laps of the 25-lap main event before ultimately settling for a second-place finish at the checkers.
