Berck podiums in Tom Kobus Memorial at US 30
A three-day, three-state swing concluded with Kyle Berck posting his best result of the weekend on Sunday.
The action began Friday at South Dakota’s Park Jefferson Speedway, where Berck’s Malvern Bank West Series-sanctioned Bill Kirk Memorial A-Main was cut short by engine trouble.
Berck bounced back Saturday at Shelby County Speedway in Harlan, Iowa, recording an eighth-place finish in the 30-lap feature.
On Sunday, racing in his home state of Nebraska for the Tom Kobus Memorial at US 30 Speedway, Berck capped the weekend with a third-place finish in the $3,000-to-win finale, joining winner Dallon Murty and runner-up Jesse Sobbing on the podium.
Berck climbed to fourth in the latest Malvern Bank West Series point standings.
