Berck competes in Labor Day weekend swing
Kyle Berck kicked off his Labor Day weekend on Thursday night with a trip to Cresco Speedway (Iowa), where the Malvern Bank West and East Series faced off for the Blue Ribbon Classic.
He opened the weekend on a consistent note, finishing third in his heat race before crossing the line 14th in the feature.
The action shifted to Deer Creek Speedway on Friday and Saturday, where Berck transferred into Friday’s A-Main via a B-Main appearance. However, the team couldn’t find the speed they were looking for, and Berck settled for an 18th-place finish.
Issues resurfaced on Saturday, as qualifying problems hampered the evening. Berck wrapped up the weekend with a 23rd-place finish in the $7,000-to-win finale.
