Fifth-place finish at Lakeside Speedway
A doubleheader weekend with the Malvern Bank West Series brought Kyle Berck to Lakeside Speedway on Friday for a $3,000-to-win showdown.
After a steady third-place finish in his heat race, Berck advanced two positions in the 25-lap feature to secure a fifth-place finish. He crossed the line behind Tad Pospisil, Andrew Kosiski, Jacob Hobscheidt, and Bill Leighton.
The weekend continued Saturday at US 36 Raceway, where Berck was running inside the top 10 before mechanical issues ended his night on lap 17 due to rear-end trouble.
